  • Castle Rock

Another great diving spot in Victoria Australia is Castle Rock. It can be found in the oceans of Point Lonsdale. The maximum depth is 19 meters which is definitely perfect for immediate and advanced divers. The Average depth on the other hand is 18 meters. Everyone will surely enjoy their diving experience because of the beauty of the place not to mention the amazing creatures and scenes that can be found under the deep blue sea. Its average visibility is about 10 meters. The main way to go there is through small boats from the Portsea or Queenscliff.

Upon reaching the Castle Rock, you can easily notice the square lump of rock in a limestone area and sand bottom. You can see a lot of micro faunas on the spot and yellow zoeanthids hanging on the walls. You can see different creatures like undercuts, eels, different types of fishes, lobsters, and many more. At times, mantas and whales can come passing by. But mostly, the residents of this diving site are small creatures that live inside holes and reefs.
