  • Cucumber Alley

Cucumber Alley is another Australian diving pride. It is also called the Pellowe Reef at times. It is described to have a small and isolated reef situated on the continental shelf. The maximum depth of the dive site is about 30 meters and provides a perfect swim through and wall dive. You will absolutely love the dive spot though it is not commonly known to public.

You can see different amazing creatures swimming under the sea. You can see large pelagic, sea cucumbers, and nudibranchs. Aside from that, you can also observe shoals of barracudas swimming by. The corals are indeed colorful and fantastic. They serve as perfect home for small fishes and other tiny sea creatures.

The temperature of the water is still on the normal range but is warmer compared to other Australian Dive sites. During summer, the water is 28 Celsius and it drops to 23 Celsius in winter. Dive on your complete wet suit and observe the amazing marine life. The visibility ranges from 10 to 50 meters. Anyone can enjoy this dive site all throughout the year.
